Shine! Do what makes you shine!

Shine is a big pretty gartery crescent shaped shawl. It’s worked from top down using yarn overs and KYOKs to make a lovely lacey top edge which is paralleled with a lovely lacey knitted on cast off. The short rows make it look like the ocean, or sandbanks or even cut crystals. Do it in jewel tones, or in grey scale. Shine will adapt to you and your lovely yarn choices.

Needles:

4mm (US 6) circular needles in at least a 24” cord.

Notions:

Things to block your shawl with.
Things to weave your ends in with.

Yarn:

3 awesome different colours of The Plucky Knitter Primo fingering weight yarn.

Sample is shown in:

Colour A = Icey Audry (blue) colourway.
Colour B = Tulip Time (orange) colourway.
Colour C = Wintry Mix (light grey) colourway.

Or approximately 1170 yards (1070
meters) of fingering weight yarn.
Or 390 yards (357 meters) per colour.

Gauge:

14 stitches x 25 rows = 4” square
worked flat in garter and blocked.

Size of Shawl:

86” wingspan,
24” deep from very top middle to very
bottom middle.
