The horizontal stripes on this T-shirt take a 90-degree turn on the centre front, by working a slip stitch pattern. The garment, designed by Nicola Diggins, is knitted flat from the bottom up. The shoulders are sloped with German short rows and joined using the three-needle cast-off. Nicola has knitted her top in Ainsworth & Prin’s Merino and Silk Single, a 4ply hand-dyed yarn from her own range.

A bright breezy t-shirt with a nod to sweatshirt styling. The stripes give a nautical air and take a 90-degree turn at the centre front by working an easy slip stitch pattern.  Shipping Forecast is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up, the shoulders are sloped with German short rows and joined with the three needle cast-off.
The slipped stitch pattern is written and charted.
