This is my first autum/winter design in 2023. The Shirin sweater is knitted with (in this case) handdyed fingering yarn in one piece from bottom up.

You start working the interesting cable edging in rounds, then you work in stockinette stitch until the beginning of the sleeves. After working the sleeves at first, you will join body and sleeves and work the raglan lines and the neckline in rounds.

Sizes:
S (M/L/XL/XXL)

Bust circumference of finished sweater:
41 (43/45/48/51)”
104 (110/116/124/130) cm

This sweater is intended to fit with about 4” - 4½” 10 - 12 cm of positive ease at bust.

Materials:

  • Buttjebeyy Sensitiva, handdyed (100 % merino wool, 393 yds 360 m / 100 g): 4 (4/5/5/5) skeins in color „Cochenille” or any fingering yarn that provides the same yardage
  • US size 2,5 3 mm circular needles (or any size to obtain gauge), 47”, 39” and 32” 120, 100 und 80 cm
  • Double pointed needles (set of 5) in the same size
  • Stitch markers
  • 3 stitch holders
  • If prefered, 4 safety pins for holding the undarm stitches
  • Cable needle

Gauge:
26 sts and 36 rows = 4” in square (10 x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch
