To fit foot circumference: 20.5 (21.5, 23, 24.5)cm / 8 (8½, 9, 9¾)“ – to be worn with approx. 2.5cm / 1” negative ease
Foot length is fully adjustable within the pattern. Finished sock measures 0.5cm / ¼” less than actual foot length to ensure a good fit.
Yarn: Approximately 210 (240, 265, 290)m / 228 (261, 288, 316)yds of DK-weight yarn for Heel Flap & Gusset version; Short Row and Afterthought heels use slightly less yarn.

Shades: 10-15 assorted shades; scraps of approximately 10-15g

Gauge: 28 sts & 40 rounds = 10cm / 4” over St st on 3mm needles, after blocking.
Needles: 3mm / US 2.5 needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle
Notes: These socks are worked from the cuff down, with a ribbed cuff and a lace striped pattern on the leg and foot. The sample shown is worked using the Heel Flap & Gusset method. When changing yarns, ensure you twist the new colour with the previous colour between stripes to avoid holes. Take care not to pull yarns too tight between stripes to prevent the fabric from pulling.
