My dear friend, Larissa Niec, has written an incredibly imaginative and thought provoking novel entitled Shorn. I have come in at the tail end of this process, after she found an independant publisher who cared more about the artistic expression of the work rather than the bottom line, and have followed along as she walked her own path with it from there. I created this pattern to honor her, her creation, and hopefully be made as memorial piece for those people who will read her book.

Her book officially launched July 19, 2008 at Wordsmith’s Books in Atlanta, GA where Larissa used the bookmark I made for her during her reading.
