When we have so many things pulling us in all directions, the last thing we want from our knitting projects is more pressure. That’s why I’m all about the anklet lately - just as you are finding yourself so stinking sick of your current project, it’s time to cast off and start something new. The Flying Geese pattern along the top, and the back cuff add visual and knitterly interest.

Short Attention Span are one-third of the Socks for Busy B’s. All three sock patterns are the perfect “throw-in-your-bag-and-work-on-whenever” projects - they don’t take tons of concentration, you can sneak in a few rounds while waiting for {insert thing you’re often waiting for here}, and they result in really fabulous finished objects. In February 2017, the patterns have all been updated to include expanded sizing, a cuff-down option (they had previously been toe-up only), and slipped-stitch heel options (they had all previously had stockinette heel instructions only). Each pattern can be purchased separately, for $6.50, or you can get the whole collection for $15.
