The modern jean jacket, the shortcake is the perfect accent piece for any wardrobe. Made out of recycled blue jeans this bolero is machine washable and dry able.

The body of the bolero is worked as one piece and seamed just a bit at the bust area of the front. Then the short row ruffle trim is joined to the piece as it is worked so it makes for very a nearly seamless project.

Yarn: Kollage Yarns “Riveting Sport” (100% recycled yarn from recycled blue jeans 95% cotton, 5% other; 163 yds 149m, 3.53 oz 100g): MC #7902 Dusk Denim, 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 5) skein; CC #7910 Blue Denim, 1 skein.
Needles: Size US 4 (3.5 mm): 24” circular needle, or size to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: tapestry needle.

GAUGE
26 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st, after machine washing and drying.
