Shula the Sheep
by Ann Franklin
Yarn: 25g Jamieson & Smith Shetland Aran Worsted in Snaa White;
25g Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight in Brown (shade 143)
Scrap of fine yarn in cream, for embroidery.
Accessories: 150g of toy stuffing.
Super-cute sheep made in beautifully rich Shetland yarn.
Shula is a sweet sheep, knitted in a combination of bramble stitch (body in Shetland Aran Worsted) and garter stitch (head, legs, tail, ears and eyes in 2ply Jumper weight). Ideal for gift-making. Bramble stitch is easier than you think, you just work two knit stitches and a yf into one stitch. Mouth & nostrils are embroidered.
