This hat was designed for Michigan Fiber Fest 2022, the fourth in a series. Motifs represent a spinning wheel, spindle, distaff, weaving shuttle, and twill fabric.

The hat can be blocked as a beret or a slouch hat.

Kits are available from Heritage Spinning and Weaving.

Size:
Adult average (22″). Adjust size by changing needle size.

Yarn:
Fingering weight, Jamieson Spindrift (25g, 115 yds/105 m). Six colors, either blues or natural colorway.

Needles and Notions:
US 3/3.25 mm for circular knitting or size to achieve gauge. Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Skills:
Knitting in the round, working cables, two-color stranded knitting, following a chart.
