You know the drill: garter stitch, short rows and some stripes! Yet this shawl is something different, a new twist on my favorite ingredients. You end up with a lovely and large leaf-shaped shawl with some hidden stripes to spice up your knitting! Choose your two favorite colors and join this wonderful adventure of shawl-making!
Sizes
One Size.
Finished measurements: 80½” / 204 cm long and 23½” / 60 cm deep in deepest spot.
Materials
Yarn: 3 skeins of Tosh Mo Light by Madelinetosh (80% Merino Wool, 20% Kid Mohair; 420 yards / 384 meters per skein). Approx. 900 yards / 825 meters of fingering weight yarn; 620 yards / 570 meters of MC and 280 yards / 255 meters of CC. The sample was knit in colorways Kryptonite (green, MC) and First Light (gray, CC).
Needles: US 7 /4.5 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long or longer. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Gauge
18 stitches and 36 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch.
