About:
This easy brioche knit is a winner for the winter. It is constructed in the round top down before dividing for front and back flaps. The brioche stitch provides additional warmth as well as a linear progression of visual interest down the front. Flaps created by dividing the cowl are tucked into your coat thereby keeping it in place during winter time activities. The purpose of this design is to provide warmth for those that dislike tight neck accessories.

When placing markers for the increase and decreases, be sure to place it literally on the brioche knit stitch itself. The decreases used in this cowl are worked over three rows. To reduce the number of stitch markers needed, move markers up to the next placement.
