SIDEWAYS STYLE
This version of the keyhole scarf allows for vertical stripes and the use of odds and ends of yarn. It can be
made on any machine. This is a very easy-to-knit design with big style impact.
YARN, GAUGE AND MACHINE:
Tamm Bebe is used single stranded for Passaps and standard gauge machines or double stranded for bulkies. Most mid-gauges may use either version. Gauge is 6.75 stitches/9.5 rows per inch for the single strand version and 4.5 stitches/9.5 rows per inch for the double strand version. Similar sizes of yarn may be striped into the pattern without much harm if you want to use your odds and ends. The sample is color blocked with 4 distinct sections but random striping can be fun, too.
