Silent Canvas
Basic look, intentional details. That’s Silent Canvas for you, a blank slate for your creative ideas!
Silent Canvas is the most basic of raglans, or at least that’s what it looks like at first glance. This pattern utilizes compound raglans, which create a slight S-curve to the “raglanseams”. They flow better with the shape of the body, and are created simply by altering the increase rates along the raglan. Please note the format of the pattern: the raglan repeats are given in a colour-coded worksheet, not every row is written out (see a mockup of the worksheet in pattern photos).
The sweater is worked seamlessly top-down with raglan sleeves and a V-neck. The pattern contains two options for the body: a longer A-line hem or a straight hem, modelled slightly cropped. The pattern contains three sleeve length options to get the perfect fit for your arms as well as three options for the A-line hem length. Pattern also contains instructions for working optional horizontal bust darts.

The sweater is meant to be worn with positive ease. Choose a size with approx. 4” / 10 cm ease at the bust circumference.
NOTE: I was not able to find test knitters for sizes 11 & 12 but would be happy to accept some. If you would like to receive this pattern for testing one of those sizes, send me a PM and we’ll figure out a timeline! Test knitters will receive an additional pattern as a thank you for completing the test.

or other (light) fingering weight yarn.
Version A: 3-4-4-4 (4-4-4-5) 5-5-6-6 balls of Mondim.
Version B: 4-4-4-4 (4-5-5-5) 5-5-6-6 cakes of Supersoft.
Yardage:

3,5 mm (US 4) and 3,25 mm (US 3) - 40” / 100 cm circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.
Gauge:
26 sts x 36 rows = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm in stockinette worked in the round (after blocking).
Others:
stitch markers, scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
