The Silent Night Socks are inspired by Christmas trees,
Christmas songs, and the feeling and meaning of Christmas.

• Top-down, with a heel flap & gusset.
• There are tiny bubbles in the top of every tree to represent any tree-topper.
• The trees have texture, as trees are naturally fluffy.
• The reason there’s lace in the tree is to represent the light airy feel of a new fresh layer of powder snow.
• The garter toe decrease represents the Christmas tree by using the Central Double Decrease.

This pattern comes with 2 charts.
1 chart for a fingering weight sock from cuff out the toe decrease - AND a single small chart of just the tree - for you to put into ANY sock using ANY yarn or needles.

Tree Placement Ideas:

• 1 round around the top of the sock, just under the rib
• Down 1 side (as shown in the pictures)
• Down the center on the back of the leg
• 1 tree just before the toe decrease
• All over the place!
