This delicate fitted cardigan with side shaping and bust darts, features lace edging and contrast lace collar and cuffs. The lower edging is worked first and sts are picked up with the body worked flat in one piece, including the button and buttonhole bands, to the armholes. Similarly, the cuffs are worked in contrast yarn and the sleeve sts then picked up in main yarn and worked flat. The collar is worked separately in contrast yarn and sewn on.
The plunge neckline is quite low and so do check the measurements diagrams before choosing your size. Be guided by the widths at shoulder and bust which should ensure a good fit at the neckline. If more room is desired in the hip area, simply choose the appropriate size to start the cardigan and gradually decrease down at the side markers to the correct size for the bust.
