About Sillage
The stitch pattern used in Sillage is a very subtle cable pattern, almost a hint or sillage of a cable.

Sillage is worked cuff down, beginning with a ribbed cuff, and a subtle cable pattern on
the front of the leg and top of the foot. The ribbing from the cuff continues on the back of the leg and onto the heel flap. The sock ends with a wedge toe. The stitch pattern is both written and charted and the instructions are needle-neutral to accommodate your preferred method of working in the round.

YARN
Purple Lamb Sock Perfection 80% extra-soft superwash merino wool, 20% nylon; 450 yards/411 metres per 3.5 ounce/100 gram skein; ‘Margarita’; 1 skein

NEEDLES
2.25mm (US 1) needles or size needed to obtain gauge in preferred style for working small circumference in the round

GAUGE
8 stitches & 12 rounds per 1 inch/2.5 centimetres in pattern stitch after blocking
