Silver Lake Poncho Cardi
I grew up near a place called Silver Lake. I always pictured s shimmering silver lake with waves, fish and boats. But when I got older I learned the Sliver Lake was a dry dusty lake bed. Maybe a bit disappointing but I always liked the name anyway.
I wanted to design something that was easy to make but still wearable. This poncho requires no shaping and very little mental effort. If you can knit, purl and purl 2 together you can make this poncho!
The great thing is it looks good on several body types. My model has a 37” bust. I have a 32 “ bust and my sister has a 42” bust and it looks great on all three of us!
Yarn
I used 4 skeins of Knit Picks Preciosa Tonal. I really enjoyed using this yarn. It’s so soft and squishy and not heavy at all.
Needles
US 9/5.5 mm
I used a 32” circular
