Crocheted entirely in Single Crochet stitches this crocheted sloth is an ideal beginner’s project.
He measures appoximately 50 cm tall

Skill level: Easy
Yarn of your choice and a hook to match.
I used 1x ball of Stylecraft Special DK in Graphite (shade 1063), a small amount of Silver (shade 1203) and a 3.5mm/ E hook.

Grey and brown felt
A small amount of grey embroidery thread and needle
Tapestry (blunt) needle
2 x 9mm Black Safety Eyes
1x 20mm Black Nose
Velcro (optional)
PVA or similar glue (optional)

Simon the sloth is crocheted in a continuous spiral of stitches in a style called amigurumi.
The pattern is written in English.
You’ll need to know how to make a single crochet stitch (US) or double crochet (UK).
Instructions for making the ‘single crochet 2 together’ are given.
