Learn to crochet this simple yet elegant crochet baby bonnet with this crochet pattern. Makes a great baby shower gift!

I chose to use We Crochet Lindy Chain, which is a fingering weight yarn that is a lightweight chainette yarn. I really love the way it works up!!

It is a combination of linen and cotton, which I feel is right for a baby. You don’t want them getting too hot, so I steered clear of the bulkier yarns. I love wool, but it might get scratchy against a baby’s head.

This pattern is made flat and seamed in the back. Then the bottom band is worked and the ties are made.

The picot border is worked at this time as well. It’s a super easy pattern!
