Need a quick baby gift for a new mom in your life? These Simple Crochet Baby Mittens are just the ticket! This pattern is made with simple half double crochet stitches.

You really need a good pair of baby mittens because those sharp little nails can stratch baby’s face, so I created a quick and easy mitten pattern for babies that doesn’t have a thumb to worry about! Also great to keep those precious little hands warm on chilly winter days!

These Simple Crochet Baby Mitts use such a small amount of yarn that they make a great stash buster, and they work up super quickly which makes them awesome for craft fairs, last minute gifts, or any time.

I used Lion Brand LB Collection Mako Cotton again, which I love. It’s affordable, great for babies and home, and has a wonderful feel to it. Keep in mind, though, that this yarn is not machine washable.

I chose a neutral color, but they make some amazing shades of this yarn that would be perfect for babies.
