Tension: Medium. Unnecessary to do a test square as you can measure the hat as you go along for sizing

I have used (red hat) Paintbox Simply Chunky and (multicoloured) The Fibre Fox Chunky in Mirkwood.

You will need:
Yarn - approximately 100g - 100m/109 yards of Chunky weight yarn

James C Brett Merino chunky
Paintbox Simply Chunky
King Cole Timeless chunky
Scheepjes Namaste
Knitcraft Leader of the Pac
Any other chunky yarn would be fine.
Crochet Hook 7mm/ Size K
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Tape Measure (optional)
Faux fur or regular pom pom
