THE DESIGN
“Quick & cozy colorwork.”
This little free pattern is the perfect project to ease you into stranded colorwork! A simple one-by-one repeat in two colors helps to get you used to alternating strands of yarn while producing a fun, checker-like pattern. One-color ribbing at each edge is a tidy finishing touch! Sized just right to keep your neck warm and knit in a nice, super bulky-weight yarn, you’ll have a cozy colorwork cowl in no time!

We chose Rowan Big Wool for a super-fast, super-fun Simple Colorwork Cowl. This woolly mammoth of a yarn makes straightforward stitch patterns really pop! Spun from 100% merino wool, Big Wool is an easy-to-work-with softy—this cowl will fly off your needles and around your neck like that!
