Simple Fana Socks
Simple Fana Socks are just that - a stripy sock pattern inspired by traditional Norwegian Fana patterns, no fuss added. The socks are knitted from the toe up, and they are great for practicing colourwork as the pattern is simple and repetitive.
Casting on is done with Judy’s Magic Cast-On - the technique is explained in writing, but is always easier to understand by checking out YouTube videos! The heels are sjort row heels, but feel free to use other techniques you may prefer.
The pattern is written as a one-size sock which you adjust to your own foot. Having some experience in sock knitting is a plus.
