Simple Mosaic Zip Purse
l just Love these beautiful bags.
And they are surprisingly easy to make.
They are crocheted onto a zipped canvas bag so there is no need to attach a lining.
The only sewing involved is the zip attachment row and the closing seam.
Very detailed instructions for both are included within the pattern for how to create a basic bag with the variations listed at end.
A great way to use all the little balls in the Scheepjes River/Stone Washed 58 Multipack or whatever oddments you have.
I use these pouches to try out new ideas/patterns on a small area and check gauges.
I am so pleased this technique has become cool again (thanks to Tinna) as they are such fun to do.
I learnt how to make knitted items with zips/other openings/clasps when I worked in a knitting factory and then a sewing factory back in the 80’s and 90’s and I have used this technique ever since in a wide range of crafts.
Suitable for Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Level
