Simple sock 3
This pattern is the third instalment from The Simple Sock Collective collection. You can find pattern 1 and 2 here.
Here we are, the third pattern of the collection!
I really really hope that you’ve enjoyed working on the first two patterns of the collection, and that you are looking forward to casting on this third and last pattern!
This pattern is really special to me as I designed it during a transitioning part of my life, as we were searching for a new place to call home. It was inspired by a day at the beach, after we visited a couple of houses in Brittany, France. I like to call them my “Shell” socks, and you might see why as you will work on the pattern yourself!
The stitch pattern used throughout the sock is quite addictive to knit I must say! It might be a little bit slow going as you will see as the stitch pattern (the shell stitch) is worked on a couple of rows, so it might take you a couple of rows to get into the flow of things, but once you’re there, it’s really hard to put the needles down as the fabric grows and grows!
