PATTERN DETAILS

Simplicity is a crescent shaped shawl with a simple yet beautiful garter structure. Knits and purls are used in this shawl to create a melange effect.

Size: One size. 150 cm wingspan along top edge and 43 cm from top edge to bottom.

Yarn: Three skeins á 100 g in three different colors of Cheeky Merino Joy from Rosy Green Wool (100 g = 320 m), Color A ”Sage Melange”, color B “Haze”, color C: ”Cedar”.

For sample 30 g of color A, 65 g of color B and 90 g of color C was used.

You can also use any other sports weight yarn with at least 320 m per 100 g.

Gauge (after blocking): 22 sts and 38 rows is 10x10 cm in garter stitch. Gauge is not crucial for this project but a different gauge will affect meterage and finished size.

Needles: 100 cm circular needle 3.5 mm or the size you need to get matching gauge.
