Simply Stripes is an easy and fast baby/lap blanket where you can have lots of fun playing around with color.

This pattern and sample was knit up for KnitWit yarn shop, so if you live in the Portland, Maine area you can see the sample in person and check out all of the great color combinations you can use with Berroco’s Vintage Chunky yarn.

Finished Size: approx. 27” x 27”
Gauge: 3.5 sts & 8 rws = 1” in garter st
Yarn: approx. 100 yds of bulky-weight yarn for each of 6 colors (so total of 600 yds). Shown in Vintage Chunky by Berroco (50% Acrylic, 40% Wool; 100g = 130 yds), using the following colors:
Color A = Bilberry, 61104
Color B = Sunny, 6121
Color C = Breezeway, 6194
Color D = Tang, 6164
Color E = Clary, 61103
Color F = Dewberry, 6167

Needles and other supplies:
• 32” / 81 cm or 40” / 102 cm circular knitting needle in size US 10.5 / 6.5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle to weave in ends
