Simply Stunning Stripes was designed to include elegant stitch patterns but used in a modern style. We also wanted to use up stash yarns or highlight a favorite yarn! Most importantly, it’s easy for a beginner but entertaining for someone more advanced.

Practice pairing colors, textures, and fibers as there is no wrong decisions with this pattern! This pattern is so easy to adapt as your own. You can take out sections, or use one more than once. For example, we found with the largest size, it got a bit heavy, so we took out the stockinette stripes.

Finished Sizes (before blocking and knit as written)
Pattern is written for 3 sizes, the small to be worn snuggly around the neck, the medium to be loose with the option to wrap twice to be snug, and the large to be worn long or wrapped twice.

Small: 23” circumference x 15” tall
Medium: 42” circumference x 15” tall
Large: 61” circumference x 15” tall

Materials
Yarn: Approximately 350 (700) 1,050 yards of DK weight yarn. We recommend using a variety of colors and yarns to create interesting stripes and textures. It’s a great way to use up scraps and stash!

Needles: US 7 circulars 24”-32”, or size needed to obtain gauge.
