Sinclair Hat
A little gift to you to start off the New Year on a good foot.
Please note: This pattern has not been test-knit. If there are any errors, please get in touch!
Colourwork is charted, decrease instructions are written out.
Quite a while ago I stumbled upon the beautiful work of the Orcadian woodturner Michael Sinclair. One little bowl stood out to me, marked with a geometric pattern that just wanted to be turned into a colourwork chart. This chart then remained unused forever, until I tried – and failed – to knit a hat. Instead of the pattern it was supposed to be, I turned it into a simple beanie with just a tiny bit of colourwork. Finally, the Sinclair chart had found its home.

approx. 35g/200m of MC yarn (beige)
approx. 5g/3m of CC yarn (red)
