Sitka the Polar Bear
Meet Sitka the Polar Bear! He’s ready for winter with his green plaid hat and cowl, and is as friendly as can be. Sitka has a moose friend named Yukon (who also wears plaid), and you can find his pattern here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/yukon-the-moose
Your PDF purchase includes written instructions with a photo tutorial. You’ll need the yarn colors pictured (worsted/aran weight), a size E/3.5mm crochet hook, a yarn needle, stuffing, 9mm safety eyes, 20mm doll joints (optional), and an intermediate crochet skill level (or give it a try if you’re an ambitious beginner!). The finished polar bear is about 9 1/2” tall when sitting, 13” when outstretched.
About Crochet to Play:
Each Crochet to Play pattern gives you all the instructions you’ll need to create toys that appeal to both kids and adults. I am a firm believer that children flourish with plenty of opportunities for creativity. When you give a child the toys you have handmade from these patterns, you are giving tools for story-telling, dramatic play, understanding character, and more!
Patterns are written in English using US crochet terminology and are meant for the intermediate crocheter.
You will receive an instant download PDF. Your pattern will include step by step instructions and helpful photographs.
