YARN

Biscotte Yarns or Louise Robert Collection - DK PURE (90% Merino wool and 10% Silk); 238 m (260 yards), 115 g; 2 skeins for the kit: 1 for the hat and 1 for the cowl. Sample shown in Ecume. The hat uses 115 m (125 yds), the cowl uses 220 m (240 yds).

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS

• One size 4.5mm (US 7) circular knitting needle, 40 cm (16”) long, or size to get the gauge
• One set (5) double pointed needles size 4.5 mm (US 7)
• Cable needle
• Stitch marker for beginning of rnd
• Yarn needle

GAUGE

21.5 sts and 29 rows = 10 cm 4” worked in the round over St st, af-ter gentle blocking.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Hat circumference 40.5 cm (16”), height 21.5 cm (8.5”).
Cowl circumference 53.5 cm (21”), height 33 cm (13”).
