Skaldaposi
For this year’s crochet lesson group, I wanted to create a design that would serve as a good exercise for working in the round, as well as with increases and decreases. Inspired by yarn I had at hand, I designed a round evening bag with a simple look but several decorative details.
Kangaroo Rayon provides a lovely sheen and drape to the finished object. With other types of yarn, such as cotton and wool, the bag will hold it’s shape better.
Skaldaposi works very well as an accessory for medieval and fantasy cosplays!
Instructions are given in written abbreviated form and US terms.
Skaldaposi means a poet’s purse in Old Norse.
