Skare
The pattern also contains an ornament hack so that you can use finer yarn (fingering to light fingering) and needles (2.5 mm / US 1 1/2) to make a mini mitten to decorate with.
Skare is what Norwegians call that solid icy surface that sometimes forms on top of a snow covered surface, making it sparkle and shine in the sunlight coming from just over the horizon.
I hope you will enjoy this pattern, and if you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me in my Ravelry group ‘Skeindeer Knits’. It’s the best place for swift support. Happy knitting!
