Skua
Skua | long distance migrating sea birds
Elegant slanting lines, bold lace and exceptional yarn combine to create these gorgeous socks. An interesting lace panel gently slants across each leg, meeting to create a central focal point along the inside of the feet. Striking columns of lace and twisting lace cables combine to accentuate the tilt of the panel.
These socks are worked from the top down with a traditional heel flap reinforced with a slipped stitch heel pattern. The lace is rhythmic to knit and easy to remember making Skua an ideal sock project for when you want to relax into your knitting.
Showcase your favourite solid or semi solid sock yarn with this striking pattern.
