This scarf is a nice beginner project for those new to cabling. You get lots of practice with the simple two stitch cables zig- zagging down the length of the scarf. The scarf is worked flat with a 3 stitch garter stitch band on each side. One size fits all. Adjust length as desired.

The sample scarf was 7” wide by 72” long and worked using 410 yards of KnitPicks Preciosa tonal worsted.

Lion Brand Heartland is a nice easy care yarn choice.

Two skeins of either yarn will be enough to complete a scarf with yarn left over.
