This lightweight and versatile circular scarf can be worn in one long elegant loop or doubled around the neck for more warmth. (Knitters in a hurry can cast on fewer stitches and knit it as a regular cowl.) The easy lace pattern is both charted and written out.

Specific directions are given for one size in two different yarn weights: Version A requires about 50g of lace weight yarn and Version B requires about 100g of fingering weight. But the size is easily customizable, and the pattern can be adapted to use other yarn weights as well.
