“This jumper was inspired by the garments knitted on Fair Isle during the 19th century. It is quick to knit as it doesn’t require shaping, keeping all the focus on the colour work. In the 19th century this type of garment was probably knitted for daily use and possibly knitted by children too.”

The book gives charts for three colourways:
Natural
Traditional
Ombre

All garments in the book have been created using different gauges, depending on the size being knitted.

Sizes XS and M: 30 stitches and 34 rounds over 10cm
Sizes S and L: 27st and 30r
Size XL: 28st and 32r
