Slimming Lines in Knitted Jumper
Diagonal bands give a touch of originality to this knitted cardigan, which buttons from neck to waistline. Directions for the crocheted beret which accompanies it will appear in a subsequent issue.
MATERIALS: 8 skeins of thick wool (equal to a 5-ply). No. 3 needles; 7 buttons.
MEASUREMENTS: Bust, 36 inches; length from shoulder to lower edge, 19½ inches; sleeve at underarm seam, 20 inches.
TENSION: About 4 stitches to the inch.
