Mosaic patterns, where stitches are slipped, are incredibly easy and quite addictive. I wanted the cowl to be reversible so I chose Maze Pattern because the motif was just as interesting on the opposite side of the work.

This is a simple, fun weekend project that requires no seeming and it a quick knit. Only one skein of Madelinetosh, Tosh Dk, in each color, Stovepipe and Antler is necessary to complete the project. The knitter should be capable of a long tail cast on, working in the round, creating a corrugated rib, and competent with mosaic knitting.

I provided two links that give additional information on creating a corrugated rib and mosaic knitting, or slip stitch knitting.
