Slip stitch scarf
This is a pattern for a small, tapered scarf, worked end to end with increases to make it wider at the middle, then decreasing to make it slim again.
There are instructions for two lengths: 104 cm (41 in) or 120 cm (47.25 in) with the width (at the widest point) for both options being approx. 11.5 cm (4.5 in) wide. The scarf can be extended further, if required, by adding extra rows in the mid (non shaping) section.
This is a lovely, quick project for an advanced beginner or intermediate knitter.
Requiring one ball of yarn, knitted on 4 mm (US 6) knitting needles/pins.
The pattern recommends two ends of Drops Kid Silk OR one end of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk. Other yarns can be used but the final size of the scarf may vary depending on your yarn choice and needle size.
