Slippery Fish are fingerless gloves worked in the round from the bottom up. A pattern of slipped stitches and lace makes a herringbone motif that is intended to mitigate the pooling effect of variegated yarn.

Yarn: You will need approximately 110 yards of a dk-weight silk or other warm-weather-appropriate yarn for best results. (Pictured: Artyarns Regal Silk in 132 – DK, 1 skein / 50g / 163 yards, 100% silk)

Finished Measurements: Finished gloves will measure approximately 6 inches in circumference and 6.5 inches in length when laid flat; the amount of stretch will depend on the yarn used. Cuff length may be adjusted by doing more or fewer repeats of Rounds 4-5; hand length may be adjusted by doing more or fewer repeats of Rounds 52-53.
