Simple, top down socks. Thick, warm, and slouchy.
Materials:
Northbound Knitting Superwash Merino Bulky:
Colour A - Metallurgy: 200 (240, 260) yards
Size US 3 DPN needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Size US 8 DPN
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
Gauge:
5 sts = 1” in stockinette stitch (with smaller size needles)
Sizes:
Small - 7” circumference around ball of foot.
Medium - 8” circumference around ball of foot.
Large - 9” circumference around ball of foot.
Length - Adjust to fit.
Abbreviations Used:
St(s) = Stitch(es)
K = Knit
P = Purl
RS = Right side
WS = Wrong side
Pm=Place marker
M=Marker
Sl=Slip
Sm=Slip marker
SSk = Slip 2 stitches knitwise one at a time & knit together through the back loop
P2tog = Purl two stitches together as one
K2tog= Knit two stitches together as one
