A Triangle Shawl in Inset Mosaic Crochet
The Småkär Shawl is a triangular shawl designed to showcase the beauty of inset mosaic crochet. It’s a striking yet soothing project that plays with colour, rhythm, and texture, perfect if you love colourwork but prefer a calm, methodical crochet flow.

Skill level: Advanced beginner

Materials needed:
Acrylic yarn DK
Crochet hook 5.5 mm
Scissors
Yarn needle
Stitch markers

Gauge: Approximately 17 sts and 22 rows to measure 10 x 10 cm over pattern.
It would be even better if you manage to crochet more loosely than I did. (I’m a tight crocheter and especially my sc stitches are a bit too tight.) The only thing is, you’ll probably need more yarn.
If you want to make a gauge swatch: RS 17dc WS 17sc x 22 rows measure 10x10 cm.

Measurements finished shawl: approximately 166 wide x 107 cm long. (You can make this shawl bigger or smaller by adding or doing less rows.)

Gauge: pattern repeat; one ‘block’ 2 cm wide x 5 cm high
Yarn used: Hobbii Amigo (50g/175m-191 yds, 100% acrylic) (meterage: 500gr/ 1750m)
