Small Hearts Cozy is a last minute gift to create for anyone on your list. The pattern offers both directions, knit in the round, or flat.
The rectangle can be worked in the rounds or flat and sewn together. You can adjust the size by adding extra rows / rounds to create a wider piece. You can make the rectangle longer by adding 8-st repeats of the heart pattern. Each repeat is approximately 1.6” (4 cm) long.
When working flat, add 1 stitch each for the beginning and for the end to allow a small seam for sewing the rectangle together. These extra sts are added to the flat pattern directions.
The cozy works great on various sizes of glass containers such as small mason jars, or Bone Maman jars, or even the tiny glass containers from Oui, French style yogurt by Yoplait. The ideas are endless.
