The Mock Cable stitch in the body of this pattern uses a simple slipped stitch and a yarn over on different rows to create the twisted cable effect.

This hat can be worn with the brim folded up for a beanie style, or unfolded for a slouchy style. The pattern includes two adult sizes, and a simple method for adjusting the hat to fit smaller (or larger) heads.
