This pattern is
available for free.
Can be knitted in 3-ply wool for winter or in cotton for summer wear. Specially designed for 4-5-year-olds.
There is a pattern for the drawstring bag, also.
Measurements. Length from shoulder, 21in.; skirt, 11in.; waist, 22in.; yoke, 8in. across back.
Materials: 9oz. Patons “Beehive” fingering wool, 3-ply (Patonised Shrink-resist finish); 1 pair No. 11 needles; or 11 skeins knitting cotton (equivalent to 3-ply wool) ; 4 skeins cotton equals 3 skeins wool; No. 12 needles if using knitting cotton; 1 bone crochet hook; 6 small buttons; 2 skeins contrasting shade embroidery wool.
Tension: 10 rows to the inch.
