The Smoke and Mirrors shawl is a crescent shaped lovely designed to enjoyably knit 100g of laceweight or fingering weight yarn (I used a heavy lace weight for my sample and my testers used fingering). With a careful combination of garter and stocking stitch you will find yourself making fast progress while getting the most of your yardage for a beautifully delicate accessory. Or, change it up by working the MC in garter stitch for a more casual look and meditative knit. Choose a highly contrasting combination of colours like in my sample for a bit of dramatic flair, or go with analogous colours for a subtle variation, the options are endless.

Along with full written instructions, a PDF with tick-sheet and lace pattern instructions is also included so that once the set-up section has been completed, the entire shawl can be worked from that one sheet for convenience. Charts are also provided as well as an Adjustment Worksheet so that you can vary your shawl size effortlessly.
