Smoldering Embers is a top down, short-sleeved or long-sleeved pullover with gentle waist shaping that leads to a slight A-line silhouette. Fair isle patterning adorns the yoke only/and the sleeves in the short-sleeve/long-sleeve version, respectively. The contrasting color is used for the neck cast on and sleeve and body bind offs.

Instructions for the fair isle pattern are both written and charted. Additional charts with no colors are included in the pattern so that you may color in the chart to match the yarn you’ve chosen. German short rows are used to shape the neckline before and after the fair isle yoke pattern is completed. The sweater is designed to be worn with 0” to 2” of positive ease. The measurements given are the finished measurements. There are 18 sizes ranging from 32” to 66” finished bust circumference. The pattern is broken up into two files sets: Sizes 1 through 9 and Sizes 10 through 18, for ease in reading.
