Snaking vest and dress
You begin by working the straps, to make it easier to judge the finished length of the garment (this can also be worked after if you prefer). The pattern is worked in the round from the top down, creating an A-line shape with a garter chevron pattern. You can choose to make a vest or a longer dress, and customise the length of each. Increases are made in each pattern repeat at regular intervals so that the garment is significantly wider
at the hem than at the top edge.
