1940’s vintage pattern calling for Pearle Cotton 5.

In addition to your yarn, you’ll also need a 12” piece of narrow elastic to work this pattern. I used a D hook and a single skein of sock yarn.

The one change you might need to make to the pattern, is to shorten the elastic added. (The pattern calls for a 12” piece, but a 10” piece fits my headsize better.)
